FIRE PROTECTION HOODS
FOR RECESSED LIGHTING SPOTS
Protect recessed lighting fixtures with TENMAT FF120-RF certified covers for regulatory compliance.
WHY USE A SPOT PROTECTION COVER?
NF DTU 45.10 and 45.11 require the installation of compliant covers to protect recessed lighting. Regardless of their type, these protective covers must be installed on recessed spotlights before insulation is installed. The associated transformers must be covered by covers with characteristics identical to those installed on the spotlights. Failing this, the transformers must be removed from the insulation.
It is now prohibited to install recessed spotlights or their associated transformers without protecting them, or to use non-certified products such as plastic or metal conduits or terracotta flower pots.
