USE AND MAINTENANCE
KRENDL BLOWER CARDS
Focus on the key factors for proper use and maintenance of carding blowers: the carding hose, sealing blades, internal blowing, and air filters.
Factors for the proper use and maintenance of carding machines – in detail:
– The good condition of the CARDING TUBE, which is entirely responsible for carding the insulating fiber:
1) Minimum length of 45 meters for good carding in all humidity conditions.
2) Tubing corrugated on the inside and with a pronounced relief on the inside, for optimal carding.
3) Diameter allowing the fiber to expand without being restricted by the internal volume.
4) High fiber velocity in the hose (blower power).
Note: IGLOO has developed a double or triple acceleration hose for optimal carding of cellulose insulation.
– Good condition of the rubber BLADES, which ensure watertightness and therefore guarantee the correct pressure in the pipe. If the machine expels a lot of dust through the hopper and your consumption increases, this is a sign that the blades need to be replaced. – Cleaning and BLOWING out the interior, as well as the air FILTER, is essential to prevent damage or destruction of the motors. – Monthly lubrication and checking of CHAIN tension.
– Generators. Two aspects are essential for the optimal operation of Krendl machines on generators: a minimum POWER of 7500W in single-phase and the "A.V.R." or voltage regulation system.
