IVAP VAPOR BARRIER
The Ivap vapor barrier membrane is a vapor barrier that limits the migration of water vapor in walls, thereby preventing condensation from forming. Condensation can cause deterioration of walls and indoor air quality by creating mold.
The membrane also guarantees airtightness and protects the insulation from moisture. Its presence significantly improves the comfort of occupants while preserving the building.
Igloo France Cellulose offers two products selected for professionals, with fixed or variable resistance to water vapor diffusion.
The Ivap25 vapor barrier
The Ivap25 membrane is a 2-layer vapor barrier offering high resistance to nail tearing. Its resistance to water vapor diffusion (Sd) is 25 meters.
Made from a combination of non-woven fabrics, Ivap25 is specially designed to ensure the airtightness of roofs and walls. It is easy to install and offers high mechanical resistance. The Ivap25 vapor barrier is particularly suitable for wood-frame constructions, as it meets the requirements of DTU 31.2.

The IvapHygro vapor barrier
The IvapHygro membrane is a 3-layer reinforced vapor barrier offering very high resistance and ideal for blowing insulation.
IvapHygro vapor barrier is a moisture-variable membrane with water vapor permeability ranging from 0.5 to 25 meters, depending on relative humidity. Used to ensure the airtightness of walls, its resistance to moisture-regulating water vapor diffusion protects the insulation and the building's walls from humidity variations. IvapHygro meets the requirements of current regulations. With its strong reinforcement, Ivap Hygro is particularly resistant, allowing loose-fill insulation to be blown in.
