IGLOO FRANCE CELLULOSE

OUR COMMITMENTS

Igloo France Cellulose is committed to supporting associations.

COMMITTED TO THE FIREFIGHTERS

Igloo France Cellulose has been committed to supporting the firefighters at the Sables d'Olonne rescue center for several years. The company supports the Team Igloo Sapeur-Pompiers 85 sports team during the Vendée Va'a. This Polynesian canoe race requires team spirit and perseverance, values shared by the Vendée-based company. Thanks to this partnership, Igloo France Cellulose has been able to raise awareness among these professionals about cellulose insulation and the procedures to follow in the event of a disaster in buildings where it is used. Since 2020, the rescue center has also been collecting paper so that it can be sent to the factory, where it is recycled into cellulose insulation.

COMMITTED TO SCHOOLS

For several months now, Igloo France Cellulose has been organizing collections at local schools. Bins are provided in schools and filled by students and staff. The collections can be picked up by Igloo France Cellulose when the school is unable to take them to the Achards factory. The paper is then weighed and purchased to help schools finance their activities. Through these partnerships, Igloo France Cellulose can raise awareness among younger generations about the importance of recycling and the impact of the circular economy. It helps to create a genuine ecosystem with resources from local recycling, recovered in the Vendée region, and distributed to a dense network of artisans in western France.

COMMITTED TO A CHARITABLE ORGANIZATION

In 2021, Igloo France Cellulose is supporting a charity, Le Camino de l'Espoir, founded by Jean Renoux in 2006. This association (under the 1901 law) organizes sporting, musical, and cultural events to raise funds to help families of children with neurological diseases or injuries. These children live at home or in specialized centers and require specific, particularly costly care. Since 2007, thanks to the association, more than €150,000 has been distributed to families. This is a humanitarian commitment that is dear to the President of Igloo France Cellulose, who wishes to support this association by providing it with funds and visibility.
